Project Description

The University of the Ozarks, in cooperation with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC), is proposing to construct an Olympic-level shooting sports facility in Clarksville, Arkansas.

The undertaking is currently estimated to include constructing a clubhouse/lodge, a woodland sporting clay course with twelve lanes, five skeet/trap overlay fields, three bunker fields, an archery field, and a rifle and pistol range with twenty lanes. Parking areas, a pavilion, and a recreational trail are anticipated to be developed in conjunction with the construction of the sports facility.

Garver is preparing a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document for U.S. Fish and Wildlife approval, and an Environmental Assessment (EA) is being drafted for the project.
